Fantasy and storytelling work our brains to envision alternate realities outside of our own. It expands our sense of what’s possible, and puts us in the practice of placing ourselves in someone else’s shoes. When we learn in a state in play, or wonder, we understand new concepts and retain information much faster than otherwise. Fantasy has always been a place for me to find the magic of life again, and these paintings help bring that magic to life.
