Isadora
Isadora Duncan was a dancer known as the mother of modern dance, and as someone who rebelled against the constraints of traditional ballet dance form. She leaned into expressive movements, inspired by emotion and the cycles and rhythms of nature. Inspired by Ancient Greece, her costumes were billowing robes of fabric that contributed just as much movement to the dance as her body itself. Barefoot and hair down, Isadora looked for inspiration from the wind and the sea; from poets and artists; and classical composers.
This painting is for the Isadora’s of today. For the one’s who want to let their hair down, and feel expressed in their lives. It’s for the ones who feel a calling to reconnect back home to Mother Earth, and who want to experience more art, beauty and joy in their life.
